The New Generation of MFU Model UN  First Orientation 

On the 23rd of September 2023, Mae Fah Luang University Model United Nations (MFU-MUN)’s ‘New Generation Orientation’ was held at the General Sampao Choosri Building (E4) Room 708. The activity was orchestrated by the students from the School of Social Innovation, reviving the organization since its last activities in 2021.

Aj. Dr. Nichan Singhaputargun, the organization’s advisor and the lecturer from the School of Social Innovation, commenced the event with an encouraging welcome speech. The Co-Presidents, Mr.Papangkorn Bunsophap and Mr. Tula Kusurom, the 4th year students from the School of Social Innovation, delivered and clarified the objectives of the MFU MUN. Followed by the inspirational speech section with two honorable guest speakers, Ms .Kornkanok Sanabud and Ms. Warisah Wanaeloh. The first speaker, Ms. Kornkanok Sanabud , a master’s degree student from the International Development major at Mae Fah Luang University, who was also a former Thai Youth Delegate to the United Nations, shared the audience with her inspiring journey of becoming a youth delegate to the United Nations. The second guest speaker, Ms.Warisah Wanaeloh, a Human Rights Defender and an officer at UNICEF Thailand, joined the event via a video conference to share her working experience in UN agencies.
